About the JTM

In April 2007, APIA welcomed the 2007 international Joint Technical Meeting of pipeline researchers from the APIA Research and Standards Committee (APIA RSC), the European Pipeline Research Group (EPRG) and the Pipeline Research Council International (PRCI) from the US, to Canberra for their first ever conference held in the Southern Hemisphere.

Held every two years, this important international forum showcased some of the key technology developments in the worldwide pipeline industry. The 2007 JTM brought around 120 of the world’s pre-eminent researchers and engineers into all aspects of the design, construction, operation and integrity of high pressure petroleum transmission pipelines together for the first ever conference, held in the Southern Hemisphere.
